Local pharmacist, prosecutor and ex-state legislator declared Friday that he is running for North Carolina attorney General next year.
Republican Tom Murry, Wake County, said that he would seek to succeed Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein who declared last month that he was running for Governor.
Murry, who had previously served on the Morrisville council in Morrisville, was elected to the State House in 2010. Later, he worked at the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Murry is currently licensed as a pharmacist in North Carolina…
