The US’s airspace invasions are a sign that the global threat picture is shifting for the worse according to a top UK official

According to a U.K. top official, the U.S. recent shootdowns of spy balloons from China and unidentified flying objects are “a warning sign that the global threat situation is changing for worse”. 

Defense Secretary Ben Wallace made the remark to The Telegraph less than a day after President Biden ordered an F-16 to shoot down an airborne object flying at around 20,000 feet over Lake Huron.  

This was in response to the disappearance of mysterious objects in Canada, Alaska and China.
