Republican Sen. Rick Scott of Florida has floated the concept of an “automated loss of life penalty” for individuals who perpetrate college shootings.
“We have to think about an automated loss of life penalty for college shooters. Life in jail will not be sufficient for the deranged monsters who go into our colleges to kill harmless children & educators. Pray for all going through the unimaginable in Nashville. That is horrible & should cease,” Scott tweeted.
