The Environmental Safety Company finalized a brand new “Good Neighbor Plan” rule on Wednesday that tightens emissions restrictions on energy crops and different industrial amenities situated primarily within the Midwest.
The strict measures, which apply to 23 states, would require factories to cut back “smog-forming nitrogen oxide air pollution.” The EPA claimed the restrictions would enhance air high quality and save lives by decreasing emissions from upwind states that trigger downwind smog.
